112 drops a new song called “Dangerous Games“. We’ve been listening to 112 for so long, it’s crazy to think they’ve been in the game for decades. Not only that, but they’re still dropping new shit in 2017. With their upcoming Q Mike Slim Daron album and one single on deck already, the quartet takes it back to that baby making music with “Dangerous Games.” The vibe of the track is certainly nice and slow, but the group is singing about the ups and downs couples go through with trust and how close it could be for it to end.
The instrumental, providing the group’s normally straight-ahead sound with a more modern trap swing, accentuates the mood put forth in the lyrics. As is typical for 112, the song details the ups and downs of love, specifically those couples who are in a committed relationship and are just living in the day- to-day grind of life for one another. Trust issues and how close those rifts can be to making such a relationship implode provides the crux of the track’s narrative. It’s not necessarily groundbreaking stuff for a group who’s known for this kind of material, but for those who are searching for a smooth, slow antidote to the club- style trap anthems of today’s hit parade, this should do nicely.
